Archer Hotel Capital B.V. (“Archer”) is a specialist European hotel investment vehicle jointly owned by affiliates of APG Asset Management and GIC. Archer was established in December 2018 and owns one of the best quality hotel portfolios in Europe, comprising 13 hotels with a gross asset value of circa €2bn.

Archer Hotel Capital, a prominent European hotel investment vehicle managing a €2bn portfolio of 13 high-quality hotels, was facing a significant challenge during a critical office move. The move was jeopardised by unexpected delays in their connectivity installations, which threatened to disrupt daily operations. Reliable connectivity is essential for maintaining smooth business processes, especially for a company overseeing a substantial investment portfolio. The unforeseen network issues placed Archer Hotel Capital at risk of operational downtime during this crucial transition.

The Solution
Our Solution
In collaboration with SCG, Quantum Cloud Solutions provided Archer Hotel Capital with a seamless interim solution to mitigate potential downtime. SCG implemented a robust 5G router and SIM solution, ensuring that Archer Hotel Capital maintained uninterrupted internet access, even if the primary connectivity installation was delayed. This proactive approach allowed Archer to proceed with their office move as planned, without any disruption to their business activities. Additionally, SCG added further value by offering proactive data usage monitoring. With mid-month alerts on mobile data usage, Archer could avoid unexpected over-usage charges by adjusting their data plans in advance. This feature allowed them to top up data or switch to an unlimited allowance, helping to optimise operational costs and eliminate potential disruptions due to data restrictions. Several useful additional features - such as, hunt groups and pick-up groups, to enable call distribution within the individual departments - would also be included. NCC Education liked what SCG was suggesting. The proposal was comprehensive and the sales representative explained clearly what would be delivered.
